Ethiopian Coffee and Ceremony

Ethiopia claims coffee is its gift to the world.  In fact, there is a consensus among historians and botanists that coffee is indigenious to Ethiopia . . .  . . . It is in the experience of the Coffee Ceremony, however, that we realize the real power of Ethiopian coffee.  One, two and sometime even three times a day, the mother of the Ethiopian houshold invites the family and neighbours for "buuna" (coffee).  This is a special time when people are bound together and transcend their daily life.
