Mother's Day is just days away.  I must admit, I kept thinking that I had one more week to go to prepare for a memorable Mother's Day for my wife as well as my mother.  By memorable, I don't mean having the kids misbehave and fight all day.  Here are 3 ideas that are easy on the pocket book and can make a lasting impression on your mom (or wife) as well as someone you have never met.

1) Bring your Mother to the WASS Ethiopian Restaurant.  Your Mom can eat with her hands (utensils are optional).  She'll be proud that you finally learned to wash your hands before eating.  As well, The WASS does the clean-up for you when you're done.  Think "NO DISHES".

2) Secondly, consider buying a Gift in Honour of Your Mother. At The WASS we encourage you to check out Compassion Canada's Gift Catalogue for some incredible gifts that can help change a life and a community.  I posted a link below to a video from the Australian Office of Compassion for some light hearted entertainment. Click here to View the Compassion Gift Catalogue.

3) Finally, please consider Sponsoring an Ethiopian Child through Compassion Canada.  The WASS has a unique link that will take you to our part of the Compassion Canada website.  Once you arrive, select Ethiopia on the right hand side of the page to see children needing sponsorship in Ethiopia. Click here to Sponsor an Ethiopian Child.

Remember: You only have 2 more days after today.
